Thank you to the Newport Harbor Sailing Foundation for supporting me at the Jr. Sabot Nationals in Mission Bay this summer. I really appreciate your generosity and the opportunity to compete against some of the best sailors while representing Newport Harbor Yacht Club.

I spent several weekends practicing with my team at Mission Bay leading up to the regatta, and it was exciting to finally put everything together for nationals. Mission Bay is one of my favorite places to sail, and flight selection day was a great start to the week. With a steady 8-knot breeze and ideal conditions, I had a strong day on the water and qualified for the Gold Fleet in 6th place. The next two days were much more challenging, with a shifting breeze I stayed focused, fought hard in every race, and finished 3rd overall.

I’m really proud of how the regatta turned out and grateful for the experiences and lessons I gained along the way. Thank you again to NHSF for helping make this opportunity possible, and to all the coaches and parents who supported our team throughout the week. Your support means a lot to me!
