Marbella Marlo at the 2026 Wilson Championship
Thank you to Newport Harbor Sailing Foundation for helping fund my trip to West Kirby for the 2026 Wilson Championship. I sailed with Biscayne Bay Yacht Club with teammates Lachlain McGranahan, Justin & Mitchell Callahan, Sara Scumann, and Libby Redmond, and we won the event for the second year in a row!
As always, West Kirby Sailing Center put on a magnificent regatta. The local sailing center members and staff are always extremely hospitable and welcoming - from providing world-class equipment, being able to replace any broken or missing boat parts, serving authentic and delicious meals, and having anything competitors need at all times. Our host, Roger Glover, was extremely kind and generous, and made my team feel comfortable and right at home after each day of sailing.
It’s an honor being able to represent the US across seas, and I’m grateful for being able to come out victorious again! Thank you again to NHSF for all the continued support throughout the years.
